Represent my Community

Connect Us All
I am committed to building our community through representing the people of Ward 3, championing small businesses in Lincoln, and connecting the people, businesses and service groups that work together to make the Town of Lincoln a strong, resilient and caring community.
As Councillor for Ward 3, my focus is on:
As the Executive Director of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce for 4 years, I had the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of local business owners and community leaders - to hear, understand and address their concerns and challenges, and to help them navigate the sometimes complex landscape of dealing with municipal, regional, provincial and federal governments and programs.
As a member of the Rotary Club of Lincoln and the Library Board, I recognize that we need to work collaboratively with our local service groups to enable them to bring their skills, dedication and commitment into the forefront of building a vibrant community that supports programming and resources for our youth, families, individuals and seniors.
I look forward to being able to leverage my skills and experience in representing Ward 3, championing local businesses and connecting you with the resources you need to thrive as you live, work, and serve our community here in Lincoln.
I have had the privilege of raising my family and working in the Town of Lincoln for over 30 years. Schools, swimming, library programs, sports, church, friends, jobs, volunteering - Lincoln is an integral part of the experiences that shaped who we are.
I returned to school as a mature student in 2011, earning my MBA with a double minor in Accounting & Finance and in Management from McMaster's DeGroote School of Business while continuing to work full time.
My work experience in a broad range of roles, including Executive Director of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and my current role as Director of Finance for a local not-for-profit organization means that I bring a strong set of skills, experience and qualifications to the role of your representative for Ward 3 at Lincoln Town Hall.
I have had the honour of working with many dedicated volunteers on community projects, and have seen first hand their generosity with their time, energy, and talents. They have taught me valuable lessons in continuous learning, diplomacy, innovation, and integrity, and I am committed to continuing to put those lessons into practice through ongoing service to our community.
